Male Cat, Tuxedo
Tuxedo / Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)
Description:
If cats could talk, Riedell would have quite the story to tell! Riedell’s journey started when a kind woman named Ann (Ann #1) found him—skinny, friendly, and in need of help—while rollerblading in a park. Not knowing what else to do, she scooped him up and rollerbladed two miles back to her car with him in her arms! She did everything she could to find his owner, setting him up safely in a workshop and posting him on lost and found sites. But before we could take him in, someone accidentally let him out, and he vanished. Weeks passed with no sign of Riedell. Then, out of the blue, we got an email from another Ann (Ann #2) about a cat she had found. We gave her some vet suggestions, not realizing the connection just yet. A few days later, we saw a Pawboost alert about a tuxedo cat that looked just like Riedell—only even skinnier. As fate would have it, Ann #2 was the one who had found him, miles from where Ann #1 had lost him! Clearly, Riedell has a soft spot for people named Ann! But don’t worry—he’s open to loving humans of all names. This affectionate, playful tuxedo boy is happiest when his people are home. He’s not a lap cat, but he loves pressing up next to you for comfort and loves to be touched. His adorable chirps will melt your heart, and his playful antics will keep you entertained. He even enjoys going on walks (with his humans safely inside, of course)! Riedell does have a bit of a dominant streak with other cats, so he may be best as an only cat or with a more submissive feline friend. He’s looking for a forever home where he can be the center of attention and shower his humans with love. Maybe your name is Ann, or maybe it isn’t—but either way, Riedell is ready to steal your heart! Born around fall of 2021, he is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for fiv/felv. Adoption fee $60. Here is our application http://www.purrfectfriendscatrescue.org/adoptform.html.
