Description:
RANGER is a solid black mini-house-panther, around 3 years old who has had a rather hard-luck life so far. He's got a docked tail and both ears are tipped - from frostbite damage when he was a kitten, according to the SPCA who handled his medical needs in 2022 & adopted him out back in early 2023. So - his clipped ears (looks kinda' like a Scottish Fold or American Curl cat) & short tail - makes you think of a pitbull dog. Makes him look pretty fierce; but he's not - he's friendly & gentle & quite affectionate once he gets to know you! Additionally, he's got what's called a "Black Smoke" coat - appears to be a solid color, but upon closer inspection, the base of each hair is white or light gray. Sadly, his mom had to go into a nursing home, and he got turned outside; then the people who bought the house where he lived were pretty mean to him & kept trying to chase him away, which has made it hard for him to trust people, so it takes him a bit to get friendly with someone new. He loves canned food and loves to be petted! He survived thru 2 winters outdoors before being rescued & taken in by Purrfect Friends to help him find a wonderful new home.
