Hi, my name is Ariana, I am only one years old, rescued from an abandoned hoarder home in Flushing, Queens. Things there were very scary. I am now in a safe space and it feels different, a good different, but I am still adjusting and trying to feel safe in the unknown. I have been here just one week, I have been hiding like I did in my hoarding home, but there’s nice people who come and give me pets and chin rubs that I really enjoy, even though I am hiding. Deep down, I know I am safe. I just have been through a lot and am taking some time to decompress. I know one day I will fully come out of my shell.
