Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)

Description:

Acadia is a young female cat who came into our care with a pregnant belly. She gave birth to four healthy kittens and each of them was named after a national park! She spent the next months being a protective mama cat and taking care of her babies, getting them ready for their forever homes. Now, with all her kittens adopted out, Acadia is adjusting to empty-nest life at her new foster home. Since being with her currentfoster mom, Acadia has become cat friendly and has a boost in confidence from other cats! She is still on her journey to becoming a confident cat due to her past as a stray, but the way to her heart is with toys and food. Please apply to adopt at www.TTRRescue.com or email [email protected] with any questions.Adoption ProcessOur adoption process helps match pets with their families. After submitting your cat or dog application, we contact references, and schedule a virtual or in-person home visit. We encourage virtual or in-person meet and greets with your potential new companion.Once everything is approved, we celebrate as your new furry friend officially becomes part of your family! Adoption PoliciesOut of State adoptions are possible for the right match but dependent on transport capabilities. At this time our adoptions are limited to applicants who are 18 or older.Virtual meet & greets are available for applicants without an application*In-person meet & greets are available for applicants with an application*We require adopters' pets to be up to date on their rabies vaccine as per NYS law and highly encourage additional vaccinations.*Depending on foster availability and comfort level.Adoption FeesBy adopting, you're not just gaining a loving companion—your adoption donation helps us continue our mission to save more pets in need.
