DOB: 06/02/22 Rafael came to GRASP as an owner surrender in the beginning of June. He was fearful of his foster mom at first and hid under anything he could to feel safe. But in just two months, with structured feeding times and talking to him, he has come to be a great lap cat who loves being brushed/combed every day. Rafael will jump on your lap no matter where you sit down for pets and grooming.Rafael likes attention and will meow when he wants to interact with his humans. He also has a lot of energy, so scheduled playtime is essential. Rafael gets a little nervous with fast movements, so it would be best if his new family knew to move slowly as he gets to know and trust them.Rafael loves wand toys and chasing it as it's being dragged through the house. He also seems to be quite smart, so challenging him to learn new things will be fun for him and his new humans. This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.
