DOB: 03/30/17 Elphie’s personality can be stated in two words, Majestic and Moody! Are you looking for a cat with strong opinions, sharp wit, and zero tolerance for nonsense? Meet Elphie, the delightfully grumpy queen. She’s eight years young, wise beyond her whiskers, and ready to rule a quiet kingdom. Elphie prefers cozy corners, sunbeams, and being admired from a respectful distance. Once she decides you’re worthy, though, you’ll get the occasional slow blink or head bonk (a rare but treasured gift). She’s not a fan of loud noises, clingy pets, or excessive affection. Elphie is the cat for someone who appreciates independence, sass, and a touch of mystery. Elphie’s best home would be a quiet one, with no young children or other pets (or possibly living with other pets that will ignore her). If you’ve got a cozy window, a warm lap (occasionally), and a love for misunderstood feline divas, Elphie might just be your perfect match! After being a stray for however long she was, Elphie loves (and is happiest) being outside. The biggest problem she has with going outside is seeing other animals - as she would like to be the only one around! Ideally, a large catio or enjoying the outdoors on a harness is the safest for any kitty. A GRASP volunteer can discuss this with you further. This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.
