Description:

Ready to meet your new bestie? Say hi to Spirit, a sweetie who is ready to add paws-itive vibes to your life! Spirit is a two-year-old kitty who can’t wait to come home with you! This independent girl loves hanging out with her people and having a blast chasing a laser toy. Here at the Adoption Center, Spirit is warming up to new friends, and she is learning to enjoy pets during treat time or while munching on her dry food. Spirit is on the lookout for a patient adopter who can offer her a tranquil, comforting home. Her ideal adopter will let her take the lead as she gets accustomed to her new surroundings. Using food and play, Spirit’s confidence will grow, and soon enough, Spirit will feel right at home, ready to share her unique spirit with you! Spirit would do best in a quiet home with a patient adopter who understands that she’ll need time to adjust to a new home, and who can help her come out of her shell. Spirit would probably do best in a home with teens and up. A slow approach helps Spirit feel more comfortable. If Spirit sounds like the paw-fect addition for your home, click “Adopt Me” to submit an application here - https://adopt.adopets.com/pet/8487c526-d289-4002-83ba-d0d1475e7aac *The ASPCA Adoption Center encourages a $150 suggested adoption fee when adopting an animal. This suggested adoption fee allows the ASPCA to continue our lifesaving work and help even more animals in need. We are grateful for any and all amounts given at the time of adoption.* For more information on adopting from the ASPCA, please visit www.aspca.org/adoptionsteps. **The ASPCA is committed to prioritizing the health and safety of the community, the animals in our care and our staff, and we are keeping a close eye on developments related to the COVID-19 crisis as they evolve. As such, the ASPCA Adoption Center in New York City is currently closed for in-person visitors. However, we are excited to offer remote adoptions using video conferencing! In-person meet-and-greets are also sometimes available or required for specific animals. Please check out our available cats and dogs above, and if one catches your eye, apply directly for him or her. An ASPCA Matchmaker will let you know if the animal you are interested in adopting is eligible for or requires an in-person meet-and-greet. Please note: Adoption applications are handled in the order they are received and submitting an adoption survey does not constitute a hold or guaranteed adoption. You can expect to receive automated emails updating you on your adoption status as our Matchmakers go through applications. Thank you for your patience, and we hope you find your match!**
