Benni is a 5-year-old, larger gray and white female cat who was trapped and surrendered to us as a stray. Despite her challenging past, Benni is a gentle soul who truly enjoys the company of other cats. She loves spending her time in the sunlight of our indoor/outdoor enclosure, quietly watching the world go by.Although Benni enjoys being around other cats, she remains very fearful of humans. She tends to run away when approached and does not tolerate being handled. Because of her fearful nature, Benni would do best in a multi-cat household where she can feel safe and supported by her feline companions, and where she can have some secure outdoor access—like a catio or enclosed yard.Benni is looking for a patient and understanding adopter who can provide a calm environment and allow her to live life at her own pace. She’s not looking for human interaction, but with the right home, she will thrive in a peaceful setting with other cats and safe outdoor access.
