Peter was born around September 11, 2024 and is an average sized kitty. Peter was found in the middle of a back country road half frozen and clinging to life. Peter is now a happy, healthy, young man who is looking for his forever home! He is great with the resident cats and dogs even the bird! From the time he gets up he is always playing and running around until its nap time. He keeps himself entertained along with entertaining the humans he lives with. He will fit into about any home very quickly. My favorite thing about him is he loves to snuggle! Update: We took X-rays of Peter's hind limbs because of an odd gait and unusual sitting positions. The veterinarian explained that it is his right hip joint oddity and there really isn't much to do about it. Maybe....in the future there would be an available surgery, but she didn't feel at this time there was and even if there was she wouldn't suggest it because he uses his leg and there doesn't seem to be any pain. Simply, his gait is off and he often sits with the odd leg extending out and to the side. At least for his young life he is doing fine and maybe anti-inflammatories or pain killers in the future. A cat can live 12-18+ years if cared for properly. Be sure you are able to care for it for its lifetime. The ADOPTION FEE for this feline is: $100.00. All kittens/cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas and tested negative for FIV/FELV.
