Description:
We always wonder how such amazing and lovely cats end up outside, and Chimichanga is no exception. Chimichanga was found in terrible condition outside in Westchester. He was laying in front of a house barely moving but clearly in pain and needing help. He was trapped, because once he smelled sardines he ran right into the trap with speed we didn't know was possible. Underweight, battling an infected puncture wound, and with a bad cold, he took some time to recover. He was also trapped with a head tilt, that hasn't gone away with antibiotics. It's likely something he'll always have, but it doesn't slow him down too much (though he is a very chill guy). His head tilt is just the cutest thing, and it always makes him look so thoughtful. He still can move around and find the best spots to nap (and has no trouble looking for people to pet him). Chimichanga is just the sweetest guy. His favorite thing in the world is cheek scritches, and he will roll his head around looking for the perfect angle so he can get some good rubs on his perfect cheeks! He will walk circles around his human trying to get some good pets in, and when he's done he'll plop in his comfy bed and make some biscuits before settling down for a nap (but if you look at him too long he'll dutifully run over for more pets!). He isn't super playful (though he sometimes likes to bap toys around a bit), he's really just a super chill guy looking for a comfy place to rest his head. He truly adores other cats. We weren't sure at first, but once he got into an area with other cats he became so happy and just adores making new friends! His slight wobbles sometimes confuse other cats, but he just wants to be their friend! Anyone will be so lucky to take this guy home, and once you meet him you won't be able to forget his perfect little face! Chimichanga was rescued with dental issues and had surgery (he got all of his teeth removed!). Luckily, he still loves to eat and feels much better without teeth (he is a big muncher)! A generous donor who loves him has covered the cost of his dental! This cat needs to be adopted with a friend -- applications for them as a single cat will not be answered.
