Maggie is an adult spayed female Torti DSH. "Hi! My name is Maggie named after a Magnum ice cream bar. I had 2 beautiful kittens and was a very attentive momma. My kittens were adopted and now I need a forever home. Because I was a stray, I have had a lot to get used to. I learned that people like to pet me and I LOVE that! It has taken me a while to get used to being picked up but I’m young, I will adapt. I had a rough start (my eye was infected but it’s fine now). I am unique!" Here is the adoption process: To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $60 fee for any animal which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. All cats must leave in a carrier. Thank you for considering a homeless animal.
