Description:
Xena has now been in her foster home with 3 cats and small dog for over a week. She is doing great! She is very low-key but loves watching hummingbirds out the window at their feeder and enjoys climbing and sitting in the giant size cat tree her foster mom has. She enjoys attention and brushing but is not really a sit-in-your-lap cat--more the sit-beside-you or sit-nearby type of gal. We would recommend a home without children as she is used to a fairly quiet place with a regular routine where she feels safe and knows what to expect. Xena's owner had to be moved into skilled nursing and was unable to keep her any longer. The last few years Xena had put on weight and become pretty inactive as her owner was unable to walk. While no longer a young cat (she is about 10 years old), Xena has lots of years left and loves attention. SShe would love to find a permanent home of her own where she can sleep in the sunshine and get lots of pets from her human(s)!
