FIV+ This is Professor Pumpkin Paws. His foster mom calls him Pumpkin because while he looks regal, he can be a silly goose, and she's pretty sure he never went to college. Pumpkin is a sweet, curious, chatty orange boy. He never met a treat or a person he didn't love. This guy wants to be your personal orange shadow. He's got lots of fun energy but also knows how to relax next to you for cuddle time. Pumpkin is FIV+, but it doesn't slow him down! FIV is a lifelong condition that affects the immune system, making cats more susceptible to secondary illnesses like upper respiratory infections. Cats with FIV can live a long healthy life with annual vet appointments to make sure everything is okay. FIV is also not easily contagious. The only ways to contract it are from mother to kitten or from a very deep bite from a positive cat to a negative cat. Pumpkin would do well as an only cat or with others as long as he's properly introduced. Please reach out to learn more. He is such a special guy and would make a great addition to any home.
