Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair
Domestic Short Hair
Description:
This big boy is a gentle giant. We all hear the stories of how people move and leave their pets behind. Sadly, this is exactly what happened to Nix. He gets along with other cats, eats well and has excellent litter box manners. Plus he is a champion Bisquit Maker!!! He is FIV + which just means he needs to be kept indoors with proper nutrition just like any other cat. No special care needed. FIV is not casually transmitted thus he can live with other cats as long as they get along. He deserves a chance for a family that will love him - not abandon him. He just needs a second chance. Vaccinated; FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) & Rabies (which is legally required in most states). These will need to be kept current after adoption. Tested Negative for FIV & FELV unless otherwise noted on their profile Treated with de-wormer, anti-parasitics, flea baths & prevention, ear mites and anything else our vet deems needed for good health. This can sometimes include antibiotics and eye/upper respiratory medicines, etc. Many of our fosters also use pre/probiotics and vitamins to fully support their tiny immune systems during transitions. ---To meet any of our cats please fill out our adoption application to be approved.
