Meet Bellini — Our Beautiful Little Snow Angel Bellini’s story began on a bitterly cold winter day, with nearly a foot of snow covering the ground. This tiny calico was spotted in the road outside our Adoption Center, desperately eating crumbs that had fallen from the rescue van. She was freezing, starving and simply trying to survive.Thankfully, someone noticed her and alerted us. We set a trap, and within minutes, Bellini was safely inside. Bellini didn’t arrive friendly—she was frightened and unsure of people. But over the past several months, she has slowly learned that hands can bring kindness, comfort and love. Now, our once-wary little lady has blossomed into quite the love bug!Bellini purrs, curls her tail with happiness and gets excited when she sees someone approaching. She loves being petted and will gently press her head into your hand to ask for even more affection. We are still discovering her personality as she continues to open up, but one thing is already certain: this sweet girl has so much love to give.Bellini has come such a long way—from eating crumbs in a snowy street to finally knowing warmth, safety and love. Now, she is ready for the final chapter of her journey: a family and home of her very own.We have no doubt that Bellini will become a wonderful, loving companion for the special person who chooses her.
