Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)
Description:
Tiko & Memo Need a Miracle Tiko (9yrs, more black) and Memo (11yrs, more white) were loved deeply by their dad, but when he had to return to his home country, he was heartbroken to surrender them. He asked us to please keep them together, and we promised to try our best. After arriving, our medical team found that Tiko desperately needed a dental – most of his teeth had to be removed, leaving only his tiny incisors. Further testing showed he is diabetic, so he now requires insulin injections (Vetsulin) and a special canned prescription diet to keep him stable. Managing a diabetic cat in a shelter environment is incredibly challenging, and he truly needs an angel to step up for him. Memo, his loyal older brother, had normal bloodwork and also got a dental cleaning. He is healthy and continues to comfort Tiko every day. We know adopting two senior cats is a big ask, especially when one is diabetic, but they have lost so much already. If you are that special someone willing to open your heart and home to this bonded pair, or even to Tiko alone to get him out of this stressful environment, please reach out. They deserve a peaceful, loving home to spend their golden years. Contact us today to learn more about Tiko and Memo. Their dad’s only wish was that they’d be loved – let’s make that wish come true. [email protected]*Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.
