Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)

Description:

Meet Lincoln & Bitsy Lincoln (9) and Bitsy (11) are two sweet senior girls who recently found themselves at the shelter after spending their entire lives in one loving home. Lincoln even got her unique name because she was found as a tiny kitten outside the Lincoln Tunnel. Their owner was absolutely heartbroken to surrender them due to a child developing asthma — a truly sad situation all around. These girls were deeply loved and well cared for, and it shows. Right now, they’re a bit scared and still settling in (understandably so), but we know their gentle, loving personalities will shine through again soon. While they’ve lived together their whole lives and it would be wonderful to see them go home together, they don’t appear to be bonded and can be adopted separately if needed. Let’s not let these deserving seniors spend long in the shelter. They’ve already been through enough, now they just need a soft place to land and someone to love them again. Come meet Lincoln & Bitsy today!*Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.
