Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)

Description:

Tiana - Female DOB 10/16/2023 Domestic Short Hair Black - Meet Tiana! The cats we help never fail to amaze us with their resilience. Case in point: Tiana, a regal black kitten with a name inspired by royalty, is ready to bring her own brand of magic to your home! Upon her arrival into rescue as a little kitten, Tiana's frail frame showed visible ribs, backbone, and hips protruding beneath her fur. However, with proper care and nutrition, she has flourished into a healthy and bouncy little black house panther. And, despite a deformity near her sternum, which has healed without causing any pain, Tiana exudes a zest for life, engaging in playful antics like chasing and wrestling with her feline friends. She appreciates affection and attention, and her sweet demeanor shines through in gentle leg rubs and playful interactions. Tiana's ideal home would be one where she can bask in the spotlight as the sole feline recipient of love and affection. She has done fine with a few other kitties when in her southern foster, but it takes a bit for her to adjust to her environment and other kitties first. And while she hasn't crossed paths with dogs, she may welcome a calm, cat-savvy canine companion and could also share her space with older, respectful children. Due to her sternum, she shouldn't be picked up and handled often but she will be a willing recipient of all the rubs, scratches, and pets you can give. Tiana's story is a testament to resilience and the transformative power of love, and she's now eagerly awaiting the opportunity to bring joy and companionship to her forever family.
