Nixie - Female DOB 8/7/2024 Domestic Short Hair - Brown Tabby Nixie came up with her sister Trixie, but the travel really stressed Nixie and they needed to be separated where Nixie decided she wanted to be alone. Nixie is a bit on the shy side initially and will take a week or so to settle in, but once she does, she's a really sweet girl who loves attention and pets. Her pictures don't show the pretty orange swirls within her fur. Nixie arrived with her sister Trixie, they aren't overly bonded, but they get along together and would be fine to go home together as well. When they came up North, Nixie was very stressed and didn't want to be around any other cats including her sister. After a time apart, they have been together again and have been doing well together. Nixie has settled in more and more each day and is doing wonderful now. Nixie would be fine going home as your only kitty as well, but Trixie would like to have a companion to go home with and keep her company. Nixie would do best either going home with her sister Trixie, or home as your only kitty. She would also be happier with no dogs and older respectful children only.
