Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)

Description:

Night - Male DOB 2/4/2014 Domestic Short Hair Black - Meet Night! Oh, do we love a cross-eyed kitty with such a rags-to-riches story! Night originated from a horrific hoarding situation. He spent his days curled up in a corner and barely raised his head. Thankfully, Night's fortunes changed when animal control got involved. A visit to the vet revealed the extent of his suffering—entropion, a painful condition affecting his eyelids, and dental issues that left him in discomfort. With the help of medical intervention, Night underwent surgery to correct his entropion and received much needed dental care, paving the way for his transformation. Today, Night has a shiny coat and a new outlook on life! While he may still be a bit jumpy around humans and other cats, Night has begun to initiate contact, showing signs of trust and affection through gentle head bumps and soft licks. Patience and understanding are key as Night continues his journey of healing. He thrives in a quiet setting, where he can feel safe and secure, free from the stresses of busy households, children, or dogs. Night would be happiest as an only cat or alongside another friendly feline companion who can provide him with comfort and companionship. Although Night may take time to fully adjust to his forever home, his sweet nature and gentle soul shine through. As he settles into the rescue's quiet room, Night eagerly awaits the chance to find a loving home that will cherish him for the resilient cat he truly is.
