Gigi - Female DOB 6/2/2023 Domestic Short Hair - Calico Gigi is a shy, gentle calico who needs a little time to feel settled in a new space, but she’s been making steady progress with us. When she first arrived, she preferred to stay tucked away and watch from a distance, but now she’ll stay put when volunteers come in and will accept pets as long as things stay calm and unrushed. There’s something very sweet about watching her confidence grow a little at a time. Gigi seems to take a lot of comfort from having another friendly cat nearby. She gravitates toward mellow, respectful cats and we’ve often found her curled up next to a buddy for naps. Here, she’s gotten along especially well with quieter cats like Isabel and Jenny, and they’ve all shared space without any fuss. For Gigi, going home with one of her buddies would make the transition easier and help her settle into a new environment more smoothly, but she could also do well with another gentle cat already in the home. She’d be happiest in a quiet household with no dogs or children.
