Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)

Description:

Cashmere - Female DOB 9/22/2023 Domestic Short Hair - Gray Tabby Aptly named, Cashmere is a very sweet, gentle girl with the softest gray tabby fur. She ended up at the southern shelter after her owner passed away, and you can tell she once had a home where she was cared for. She really loves people and soaks up attention when it’s offered. When she arrived she was a bit plump and was diagnosed with a rare false pregnancy. She’s still carrying a little extra weight, so she’ll need someone who loves her enough not to overdo it on the treats, no matter how convincing she may be. Cashmere isn’t clingy or demanding. She just likes being near you, sharing the same space, and feeling included in your day. The one thing she’s clear about is wanting to be your only kitty. She’s happiest when she doesn’t have to share her person — and honestly, who can blame her? Once she’s settled, she’ll curl up in your lap and slowly drift off while you pet her. She gives sweet head bumps and will stand up to meet your hand when you reach down. It’s simple and very genuine. Cashmere wouldn’t do well in a chaotic home. Older, respectful children may be fine, but she would likely prefer a quieter environment and probably no dogs.
