Buttercup - Female DOB 7/19/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Calico Buttercup is a gentle, sweet little calico who takes a bit of time to feel comfortable in new places. She’s on the shy side and does best when she can settle in slowly, one room at a time, with a cozy cubby where she can tuck herself away and watch the world from a safe distance. She’s playful and enjoys spending time with other gentle kittens or cats, especially those who aren’t too pushy. Buttercup is still learning that people are safe, and she can be startled by humans moving toward her, so she’ll need a patient adopter who’s happy to let her come forward on her own terms. Buttercup will need to go home with another gentle, playful kitty, or to a home looking for a sweet companion who enjoys both playtime and cuddling. A quiet home without dogs or young children would be best for her.
