Basilisk (ba·suh·luhsk) was found hanging out in a car in Ballwin, MO. Funnily enough, this is the second time the family found a cat in their car! When Basilisk arrived, we realized he was pretty feral. This means he had not been socialized with humans yet, so he was hissing and swatting at his caretakers. After some gentle interactions and plenty of TLC, Basil has come a long way since then.He loves chin and ear scratches and snuggling with his foster mom! He will need to be adopted by someone who is prepared to spend additional time with him due to his shyness.
