Minty is a beautiful young girl who was born to a community cat and could easily have grown up living outdoors herself. Fortunately, her guardian stepped in and spent time socializing Minty and her siblings, giving them the opportunity to discover that people can be pretty wonderful. Since their guardian also happens to love gardening, the kittens received the perfect collection of garden-inspired names. Minty can be shy at first, especially around unfamiliar people and in new surroundings. She needs a little time to observe and become comfortable before deciding it’s safe to let her true personality show. Once she trusts you, Minty becomes affectionate and enjoys attention from her people. She also has a playful side and loves the fun and adventures that come with being a young cat. Minty would be a wonderful match for someone willing to be patient during her adjustment period rather than expecting an instant lap cat. Give her time to put down some roots, and you’ll have the wonderful experience of watching this shy little girl blossom into a loving companion.
