Alicia thought she already had her forever home. She was a beloved companion to an elderly woman and enjoyed the peaceful, predictable life they shared together. Sadly, when her owner had to move into assisted living, Alicia suddenly found herself needing a new family through no fault of her own. Having spent her life in a quiet household, Alicia would be happiest in a calm home where she can settle into a comfortable routine again. She is looking for someone who appreciates a more peaceful feline companion and can give her the stability she was accustomed to. Alicia is also a little too well-rounded at the moment! She is overweight and would benefit from a family willing to encourage more activity through interactive toys, short play sessions, and other gentle exercise. Helping her gradually become more active will be an important part of keeping her healthy and happy. After losing the person and home she knew, Alicia deserves a soft place to land.
