Dexter is calm, composed and untroubled. He is a loafer and big ole couch potato! Dexter will sit next to his human companion; head bump your hand for petting and then goes on his way. He spends his day lounging on a windowsill or on a comfy cat bed. Dexter doesn't require much attention and prefers it that way. He goes for cat treats and burns up the calories by chasing the red dot from a laser light. Dexter's ideal home is with someone that would enjoy a tranquil companion that doesn't need special treatment or attention. He doesn't mind other cats or dogs as long as they can coincide without much interaction. Dexter is a 5-year-old buff tiger tabby weighing in at 13 pounds! He is too heavy to carry around and he is absolutely okay with that! Dexter's adoption fee is $60. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home.
