Description:
Bonded to MasalaThis animal is located at our same-day adoption center partner, VCA PineRidge Animal Hospital. Please contact this location prior to visiting to ensure this animal is still available. A paper adoption application will be completed on site so please do not submit an online adoption application. For more information on adopting from one of our adoption center partners, please visit our Adoption Center Animals page Meet Zara! Zara is an adorable 11-month-old black and white kitty with a very special feature — a black heart-shaped nose that perfectly matches her loving personality! She came into rescue along with her feline friend Masala. At first, Zara can be a little shy in new environments, but once she feels safe, her sweet and affectionate side shines through. She’s known to be a chatterbox and loves to “talk” to her people. When she’s not sharing her thoughts, she’s happy to soak up all the pets and attention you can give her. Zara would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can blossom into the confident, loving companion she’s meant to be. With her gentle nature and adorable heart nose, she’s sure to steal yours in no time! ❤️ Zara is from an owner surrender with sister Masala, and they must be adopted together To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals. Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
