Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Male | Orange Tabby | ~6 Years Old | FIV+ Simba is a big, beautiful boy with a round face, chubby cheeks, and the sweetest heart to match. His rugged good looks come with a few old battle scars that tell the story of his life on the streets — but those days are behind him now. This handsome orange tabby is ready to trade alley adventures for a cozy couch and a human lap. When Simba first arrived, he had some painful mats on his back end that needed to be shaved for relief, and he’s been feeling much better since. He’s not a fan of the busy office environment — all that hustle and bustle is just too much for his gentle nature. He prefers to tuck himself under his bed and blanket, watching the world from his safe spot. But once you peek in and he recognizes a friendly face, Simba’s whole demeanor changes — he’ll crawl out, climb into your lap, and melt into you with head butts, nose-to-nose kisses, and even a little happy drool to show how relaxed he feels. Simba can get overwhelmed with too many people or too much noise, so he’ll need a calm, patient home where he can settle in at his own pace. He tested positive for FIV, but that doesn’t slow him down — he can still live a long, healthy, happy life. He doesn’t seem to mind the other cats in his space, though slow introductions are always best. If you’re looking for a gentle giant who will reward your patience with endless affection, Simba might just be the “best boy ever” you’ve been waiting for. One big thing about me you should know is that I have Feline Immunodeficiency Virus but please don’t let that scare you away from adopting me! Click here to learn more about Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Simba is from a local impound.
