Description:
Hi, I’m Petunia! I’m still settling into my new surroundings after a rough start to life—I came here with my siblings after being left in someone’s driveway. Despite that, I’m a strong, beautiful girl with a whole lot of personality packed into my petite paws. I’m definitely what you’d call spicy. I enjoy being petted… until I don’t —and when I’m done, I’ll let you know with a quick (and impressively fierce) little swat. I’m not trying to be mean; I just have strong opinions and I’m learning how to communicate them better every day. I’m a vocal lady and will happily greet you the moment you open the door to my room. I haven’t quite figured out toys yet, but my humans are patiently teaching me how fun they can be. I do know that I love the top of my cat tree, soaking up the sunshine from the windowsill, and supervising the world outside like the queen I am. Strangers make me nervous, so I’ll need a home that understands I need time, patience, and respect for my boundaries. I haven’t officially met other cats or dogs yet, but I don’t hiss or react through the door, so with slow introductions, I may do just fine. If you’re looking for a stunning calico with bright, expressive eyes, a sassy streak, and a big personality, I might just be your girl. I’m still learning and growing, and my story is just getting started—check back for updates as my humans get to know me even better! Petunia is from a stray surrender. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
