Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair
Domestic Short Hair / Bombay / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
Morticia is a beautiful, independent cat who came to us as a young feral mom and has lovingly raised her kittens. She’s smart, observant, and protective, but she’s also learned to enjoy gentle human company. Morticia isn’t a lap cat, yet she does like attention and pets once she trusts you — especially from calm, confident people. Quick movements or sudden, loud voices can make her nervous, and if she feels unsafe she’ll let you know with her paws or teeth. With slow, respectful interaction, though, she becomes affectionate and happily leans in for head scratches. She loves quiet observation, good meals, and sunny window spots where she can watch the world go by. Because she’s been busy raising babies, she hasn’t met other cats or dogs yet, so we don’t know how she’ll do with them. Morticia will thrive in a patient, understanding home that lets her set the pace while she learns to feel safe. If you’re looking for a smart, beautiful cat who appreciates gentle companionship and a calm space to call her own, Morticia may be the perfect match. Morticia is from a local impound, where she had her 4 kittens. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application.
