Description:
Delphi is a sweet and affectionate girl—she just needs a little time to open up. She would prefer a calm, quiet home where she can be the only kitty, though she does enjoy the company of a calm, cat-savvy dog. She loves playing with small stuffed animals, and if you catch her in a spunky mood, you might see her tossing a toy dinosaur into the air and chasing it around. Delphi would rather not be picked up, but once she gets to know you, she’ll happily curl up in your lap for endless pets and butt scratches. She tends to hide from new people at first, but once she realizes you’re safe, she becomes very talkative—and may even cry out for your attention. A calm, quiet environment is very important for her. Loud, chaotic settings make her anxious, and she does not like being kenneled or confined to small spaces. She does best with a low-profile litter box. Delphi doesn’t mind being alone for long periods, but she’ll greet you with pure excitement when you return! She does well with anyone—women, men, or children—as long as they are gentle, quiet, and kind with her. Delphi is from an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
