If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Hello, I'm Sugar Ray, a sweet, friendly kitten. I'm known for my playful spirit and gentle cuddles. I love exploring new toys and curling up in cozy corners. I might wobble a bit when I walk, but that doesn't stop me from having fun. I'm as brave as I am cuddly, and my wobbly walk just makes me more special. I've got a heart full of love to give and I'm just waiting for the right person to share it with. Adopt me and you'll have a loyal, loving companion who will fill your life with joy and sweetness. I would love another cat, or cat loving dog who wants to snuggle with me, with you are not around. I am not able to get on beds or couches, as I don't have the ability to climb. A nice fluffy kitty bed is my preference. As much as I woud love kids, I love to follow you around, and rub on your legs, and I can tend to get under your feet, which will be a hazard for young children. I have been around dogs and cats, and I love them all. I will need a home with no steps. I will tumble down without having a clue what just happend! I am a talker at times, especialy when its dinner time! If you tend to be drawn to the special kitties, Sugar Ray is your boy! I will require a diet of wet and dry food.I was born with a condition called Cerebellar hypoplasia, or wobbly cat syndrom. It is a condition where the cerebellum, a part of the brain responsible for coordinating movement, balance, and posture, is underdeveloped or smaller than usual. This is due to my mom being exposed to the Panleukima Virus when she was preganant. I use the litter box like a champ, eat and drink all on my own. I am considered a mild case, as I am able to still get around and do things on my own. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.
