Heinz is a sleek, classic brown tabby with soulful eyes and impeccable dramatic timing. A quiet gentleman 90% of the day, he lounges like Victorian royalty until the food bowl is even one minute late. Then he unleashes a single, operatic “MRRROOOOWWWW” worthy of a grieving Shakespearean cat. Playtime is brief and dignified — one or two graceful pounces on the wand toy, followed by a slow-motion roll and a look that says “I meant to do that.” Otherwise, he prefers supervising from a high perch. Petting rules are clear: During meals: unlimited head scratches and chin rubs welcome. All other times: exactly three polite strokes before the disappointed side-eye and graceful exit. He prefers to keep all four paws on the ground — no picking up, thank you. Heinz has shown relaxed interest in other cats and would likely do well with a calm, respectful companion who honors his schedule.
