At 12 years young, Laszlo is a dapper fellow whose whisker biscuit may be the first thing to draw you in, but his personality will keep you locked in forever! Laszlo has been described by his foster humans as a “snuggly, smart, and very opinionated little gentleman”. Of course, Laszlo is a gentleman AND a scholar. He is incredibly intelligent, and while he may figure out how to break into your breadbox and bite the bread (mmm carbs), he also loves figuring out puzzles to get treats and exploring his environment. Temptations and freeze-dried chicken are his favorite, and he indulges in three Fancy Feast pate cans of food a day topped off with some indoor Purina cat food. Does he love pets? YES! Does he enjoy lap snuggles? YES! Will he want to be involved in everything you do? ABSOLUTELY YES! If you’ve been looking for a companion to fill your whole heart, then Laszlo is your man. While Laszlo loves to have visitors over and will often jump in their laps, he needs a forever home without other pets or children to live out his golden years. He wants his furparent(s) all to himself for sporadic play times of toy mouse fetch, piggyback rides, and to protect you as he peers down from the tallest peaks in your home. Laszlo takes medication for his thyroid and is very cooperative in doing so. This dashing guy was rehomed by a family that could no longer support his needs, resulting in Laszlo enduring various transitions in a short amount of time. Multiple changes in environment and care have led to some incidents of agitation, however he has been in his current foster home for 4 months and thriving in a low stress setting. Laszlo yearns for a soulmate who is intuitive with his body language and can provide a relatively peaceful home with a predictable routine.
