Description:
MEET TAROT!Tarot came to us from an overcrowding situation, meaning sheâs spent most of her life surrounded by many other cats but hasnât had much one-on-one interaction with humans. Because of this, sheâs much more shy than your âtypicalâ cat and is still learning that people can be kind and safe. Here at the shelter, Tarot spends most of her time tucked into her hiding spots or peaking her head out to watch the world around her. She isnât comfortable with touch right now, but she has been responding to soft voices and gentle encouragement. Recently, Tarot has even discovered that playtime can be fun, and sheâs starting to show interest in feather toys (check out her video!). Tarot will need a very patient, understanding adopter who can give her the time and space she needs to feel secure. She would also strongly benefit from living with a social, confident cat who can show her the ropes and help her build trust with her new family. If you have a peaceful home and a heart for helping timid cats blossom, Tarot may be the girl for you.Tarot is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped, and seen by our vet team. For more information on Tarot or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.Tarot Discovers Play!
