Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair

Description:

Fill out an Online Adoption Application! Lola is a one year old female that needs to be Adopted with WeejeeIf you are looking for a feline to be not only your best friend, but a best friend of your dogs, Lola is your girl. She is much more of a dog person than a cat person for sure. Lola came to us in the summer of 2022 with 7 babies. She was one of those kittens taken into an apartment building where animals aren’t allowed. Once she had so many babies up and moving around, they were at risk of getting caught. Sadly they were put outside in the middle of a heat wave/drought. They didn’t have the resources they needed. We were only able to save 3 of them. They have long since been adopted, but not sweet Lola. She’s still here. She’s not the type of cat to be in your face and definitely doesn’t want to be packed around. However, if you let her do her own thing, she will be a great companion and definitely will keep this mice under control. She loves hanging outside, but would like to find a home with inside access for safety and weather reasons. If you are interested in meeting any of our babies, please contact us or complete an online application at https://kykittycats.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6024 We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. Our numbers have increased exponentially since Covid. Unlike most shelters, we remained open and hit record intake numbers after the epidemic hit. We have taken in dozens of very sick felines that had no other option, and have even helped over 60 canines in 2021. 2022 was not any better. We are trying to compute our end of the year numbers, but intake, vetting expenses, cost of food and litter for our 120 plus cats all just continues to get worse with the cost of living increasing like it has. Our rescue has also provided record number spay/neuters 2023 at well over 1200 surgeries on cats and dogs. Our accounts are drained, but we feel these surgeries are the only way we are going to be able to stay a float. We will never keep up with the rate that cats can breed in our area. We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help. Please visit and like our social media... https://www.facebook.com/kykitties https://instagram.com/kentuckykittycats?igshid=11qfoexi4imaf and now we are on TIKTOK! Our PayPal and Venmo is under [email protected] and our cash app is $kykittycats All donations are much appreciated, and feel free to designate how you want them spent.
