Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)

Description:

***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org*** Pip was a tiny little orange thing when he came to the shelter, like an orange seed. He had a broken tail and what we first thought might be a broken left foreleg. Surprise! His bone wasn’t broken at all. It couldn’t be. The bone isn’t there! As it turns out, Pip was born without one of his leg bones. The upper and lower bones are not connected, although the muscles work so he has control over his paw. He can even put a little weight on it. He needs to be careful jumping down, but he gets around just fine. He currently has no other special medical needs related to the missing bone. Pip is an adorable, sometimes awkward, playful kitten who loves toys. His favorite is a carrot-shaped squeak toy with a rustling green top. He would love to go home with someone who can appreciate him for his skeletal quirks as well as his personality. Pip was born April of 2023, he is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative and microchipped. As always, our adoption fee for cats/kittens is free will to approved applicants.
