Description:

Meet Karotte – A Gentle Soul with a Courageous Spirit Karotte’s journey hasn’t been easy, but she’s proven herself to be nothing short of remarkable. This petite white-and-orange beauty came to us as a stray with her babies, all of them thin and sick. Despite her own struggles, she was a devoted mother to her kittens, Marchew and Cenoura (who are also looking for loving homes).Karotte has some lasting effects from what our vets believe was head trauma. She can stand, but her balance is a little off—so when she moves, she often drops into a cute crouch and shuffles along. She’s also just the tiniest bit wobbly and trembly, which only makes her more endearing.Through it all, Karotte has remained a sweet, gentle, and slightly shy girl who’s learning to trust and enjoy the comfort of safe, loving care. She doesn’t let her special needs stop her from living a happy life—she simply does things in her own unique way.Now that her babies are grown, Karotte is ready for a home of her own—a quiet, patient place where she’ll be cherished not in spite of her differences, but because of them.Could you be the one to give this brave little survivor the forever love she deserves? If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application.
