This is to prevent Single Kitten Syndrome—a behavioral issue that happens when kittens grow up without a playmate their own age. Without another kitten to wrestle, chase, and learn from, single kittens can become lonely, bored, and sometimes develop biting or destructive behaviors.Kittens truly thrive with a buddy to help them grow into happy, well-adjusted cats. To make it easier, we offer a special adoption fee: $75 for one kitten, or $125 for a pair. Another quick note—he's currently in foster care, not at the shelter, so he won't be available for walk-in visits. If you'd like to meet him, we'll need to schedule a meet and greet in advance.
