This charming 7-year-old orange tabby is ready to find his forever home—and if you're lucky, his new favorite cuddle buddy could be you! Calypso absolutely adores human attention and companionship, and once he feels safe and settled, he'll happily curl up beside you for a cozy nap or a head-to-head snuggle. Calypso is an independent spirit who likes to make the first move when it comes to affection. But once he warms up, personal space goes right out the window. He's a sun-chaser, a nap enthusiast, and has a deep appreciation for good food—especially after experiencing food insecurity as a former stray. Because of this, he's best suited for a patient and loving home that understands his past. Just a heads-up: leave food unattended and he will find a way to help himself to seconds! The good news? He’s very food-motivated, making training or building trust a lot easier with a treat in hand. One of his most endearing quirks? Calypso is more of a howler than a meower—classic orange cat energy. He’s not combative and will let you know if he’s feeling overwhelmed with gentle cues rather than aggression. Calypso is currently in a loving foster home, getting all the care and cozy naps he deserves—but he’s more than ready to find his forever family.
