Brooklyn is a classical kitty. She likes long naps on her favorite bed and sitting by the window and watching squirrels. Brookly is a little shy around people. With us just placing a cat in an unknown situation quite a few cats get super anxious and decide to hide and observe the new place and family from relative safety. To help the cat accept you and develop a loving bond, you would need to put in some effort, loving care, and patience. We think that Brooklyn will adjust in 6 to 9 weeks. You would need to keep her in one small room (preferably your bedroom) and spend time just sitting, talking, or even singing to her.
