Brooke is a classical kitty both in style and in her view of life. She is emotional, sentimental, and sometimes moody. She needs love and someone to make her feel appreciated and secure. Her character is strong and she is an independent kitty. A little patience and understanding go a long way with this beautiful girl. Once you earn her love and trust, you will feel like the luckiest person alive!! With us just placing a cat in an unknown situation quite a few cats get super anxious and decide to hide and observe the new place and family from relative safety. To help the cat accept you and develop a loving bond, you would need to put in some effort, loving care, and patience. We think that Brooke will adjust in 6 to 9 weeks. You would need to keep her in one small room (preferably your bedroom) and spend time just sitting, talking, or even singing to her.
