Description:
A SWEET ‘SPECIAL NEEDS’ KITTEN: Approx. 4-5 months old / Approx. 4-5 lbs. & growing Hi, my name is Judy! My siblings and I needed good homes, and thankfully Mostly Mutts took us in. They have all been adopted and I’ve been growing and thriving in a wonderful foster home, playing and acting just like any other normal kitten (even though I have a heart condition that’s being monitored). I’ll have a follow-up echocardiogram in October to re-check it and there’s a chance I may outgrow it, so just inquire about me if you are interested in making me a family member. • OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I got along very well with my siblings, and there were 2 adult cats in a temporary foster home that I stayed in while my regular foster was away and I loved playing with them! So, I think I’d really enjoy another kitty friend in my new home. / Dogs unknown. / I haven’t met any children yet, but I do love when people play with toys with me! I’d do best with gentle, older kids who know how to play with a kitten respectfully and give me time to rest when I need it – let’s meet! • PERSONALITY INFORMATION: I’m a happy, curious, sometimes talkative little girl with a soft sleek coat, a big purr, and even bigger love for fun! I don’t realize that I have a heart condition, so I spend my days just living life and having fun. Playing with me with kitty toys is my love language and the key to my heart! If I’m not playing, you’ll find me taking a nice nap. I love being with my foster mom who works from home, and I’ll sometimes follow her around or ask to be picked up and carried around with my paws over her shoulder, and I reward her with loud purrs! Snoozing in a sunny spot, on a soft blanket, perching behind your head on the couch or in a window are all good napping places when I get sleepy. I sometimes climb in a lap for a nap or drape half my body over you – so cute. I’ve met and adjusted to quite a few new people, and I appreciate it when introductions aren’t too overwhelming. Like most kitties, I’ll hide and observe for a little while and then come out to see what’s going on once I’m comfortable, especially if someone has a feather wand or something to play with. I do very well for nail trims as my fosters do these regularly. I am very curious about what’s outside the doors, so my foster uses a lot of caution, so I don’t get outside and get harmed. • SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I am skilled at being adorable and entertaining! / I’ve been great at using my little box in both my foster home and temporary foster home. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love zooming through the house, darting in and out of kitty tunnels, playing with kitten toys, chasing feather wands or wadded up paper and regular size tennis balls and I love it when people play with toys with me! Crushed ice that falls from the fridge is my favorite ‘quirky’ treat, and I’ll bat and lick it until it melts. I enjoy climbing on the cat tree, scratching posts, and you’ll want to keep the toilet lid closed (trust me, it’s too tempting!). Call me over with a gentle “kitty” and soft clap of your hands and I’ll usually come running (though not always, because I am a kitty cat), ready for playtime, to be picked up or for pets. From making biscuits to soaking up affection, I’ll fill your home with laughter, and plenty of purrs. / Give me a little time to get to know you and play with me and we’ll become great buddies. I wouldn’t want to live in a very busy home with a lot of people coming and going. Otherwise, I would not like it if I didn’t get the love, good medical care and attention that all kitties deserve! • MEDICAL: I am current on my annual vaccinations and microchipped. I can’t be spayed yet due to my heart condition, but hopefully I’ll be able to be soon, and Mostly Mutts will cover the cost of that surgery with their vet, so local adoption please. Mostly Mutts will also cover the cost of my follow-up echocardiogram that I’ll be having in October with their heart specialist. I am looking for a wonderful family who will take great care of me and love me furever! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
