A KITTEN FULL OF SWEETNESS AND FUN: Approx. 2 months old / Approx. 2 lbs. & growing Hi, my name is Hawthorne! Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control at just about 5 weeks old. I went to a great foster home, where I kept my foster entertained. Now, I have taken up residence in the Kitty Room at the shelter, where I am making kitty friends and ready to meet my new family! • OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I did not meet other kitties in my former foster home, but I am making fast friends in the Kitty room now – my new digs. Since I am an active kitten, my foster says I would benefit from having another kitty in my new home. If you have a nice kitty at home who may enjoy a kitten friend, let’s meet! / Dogs unknown / Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten. Best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and – of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY INFORMATION: When I first came to my foster home, I was a quiet little guy — everything was so big and new, I wasn’t quite sure what to make of it all. But it didn’t take long for my curiosity to kick in, and now I’m always on the move! I’m not much of a lap kitty, but I do love when you sit with me and watch me play — it makes everything more fun! I think I’d really enjoy having a playful kitty buddy to keep me company and share in the excitement of discovery. • SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained. • LIKES/DISLIKES: Ever the curious kitten, I love to explore every corner, chase after toys, and pounce on anything that wiggles. I’m sweet and affectionate and enjoy a little cuddle now and then, but I usually have places to be and adventures to go on, so a quick snuggle or two and I am off to the next shenanigans! / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve! • MEDICAL: I’ve started my kitten shots, but you must finish those for me as I grow. I am microchipped. I'm not yet neutered due to my small size, but it is required and will be done as soon as I grow a little more. Mostly Mutts will cover that cost with one of their approved vets in the North Metro Atlanta area, so local adoptions only. I am looking for a loving home with a wonderful furever family! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
