*Requires Daily Meds & Prescription Diet* Link is a happy-go-lucky, fearless, and endlessly entertaining cat. He's always purring, playing, and making us laugh with his goofy antics. If you're looking for a cat with personality — he's the one for you! He loves being everyone's best friend and is always purring up a storm. At a year & a half old, he is still full of kitten energy. He would do absolutely amazing with another playful cat or two. He'd also do great with a small, cat-friendly dog! As you can probably tell, Link is visually impaired. But, trust us when we say that his blindness doesn't slow him down one bit! Within minutes he can mentally map out a new location. Link also has a liver shunt and requires daily medication and a prescription diet. Anyone can be the perfect adopter for him as long as they're willing to learn his simple routine. Many people are concerned about the financial aspect to adopting a special needs pet. We have estimated that his expenses are about $200 a month including his prescription diet. Link’s Needs: Link was born with a liver condition called a Portosystemic Shunt, which means his body needs a little extra help to function at its best. He takes medication twice daily, and eats a prescription diet. He’s also visually impaired, but you’d never guess it. He navigates like a pro and quickly learns his surroundings. What Link is Looking For: Link needs someone who can stick to his care plan and work with their vet to keep him healthy and thriving.
