Hi. My name is Asher and I am 8 years old. I had the best life with my own home and humans but then one day they brought me here to the shelter. They got a dog and he didn’t like me very much so they wanted me to find another home. It has been hard on me losing the only family that I have known and I became depressed. But the people here are very kind and take good care of me. One lady even brings me treats which I love because they remind me of home and the good times. I just love when people visit me because once I get to trust you, I come right up when I hear your voice. I love to give nose-to-nose kisses. And when you pick me up and hold me in your arms, I love to snuggle close and nuzzle your neck. My favourite thing in this world is to cuddle up close to my human. Please come visit and keep me company because I miss human touch. Maybe we can even go home together. Many of our cats are shown 7 days a week at the Petsmart at 12051 Sunrise in Plantation. The donation we are requesting is $60 and includes our medical program; all vaccines, rabies vaccine, fecal exam, de-worming, blood test for AIDS and Leukemia, spay or neuter, first month Advantage (flea treatment) plus a coupon for Science Diet food.
