Description:
Pearl | The Shy Little Gem APPLY HERE: https://linktr.ee/savinglivy Pearl is a quiet little treasure — soft, plushy, and absolutely adorable in that gentle, heart-melting way. When Pearl first came into foster on January 10, she was extremely shy and cautious, spending nearly her first week tucked safely inside a cozy cat cave in Nora’s room. And then… she started to trust.Today, Pearl is comfortable with her foster family — and once she warms up to you, she is truly friendly and affectionate. She purrs easily, comes up for pets on her own, and has officially declared Churu and Temptations treats to be life-changing. Pearl is playful and curious in her own gentle way. Her favorite toy is a little yarn ball with a jingle bell, and she is also very serious about the importance of empty boxes. She doesn’t enjoy being picked up, but she does love quiet closeness — and has even been sleeping in bed at night, which tells you everything you need to know about how far she has come. Pearl is still nervous around very young children and is most confident in calm, predictable spaces. Right now, she feels safest in her room and is slowly learning to explore the rest of the house. When she ventures out, she can be uneasy and will look for a safe spot under furniture — but with patience and continued gentle encouragement, her confidence keeps growing. She gets along well with other cats and tolerates dogs, and would likely do best in a quiet home with adults or older children who understand that trust is something you build, not rush.Pearl is every bit as precious as her already adopted siblings Cotton and Onyx — and just like them, she deserves a home where she can feel safe enough to truly bloom. → 4 months old→ Female→ Solid black, short-haired→ Shy at first, affectionate once she feels safe→ Playful, gentle & treat-motivated→ Does best in calm homes with adults or older kids→ Great with cats, tolerates dogs→ Fully vetted Pearl is ready to find her furever home — one filled with patience, quiet routines, and the kind of steady love that helps a shy kitten turn into someone’s very best friend.
