Feta (also lovingly known as mama kitty) is a young mom with the gentlest heart. She came to Foster & Forever as a stray and had her babies shortly after arriving in foster care. We don’t know her exact age, but we think she’s just under a year old — still practically a kitten herself! With her big green eyes, soft mackerel tabby coat, and graceful walk, Feta is truly striking. Her fur is silky and smooth, and she carries herself with elegance. Feta is endlessly sweet and affectionate. She can be a little shy when you first meet her, but the moment you offer a treat, her eyes light up and her purr motor starts running (she loves her treats). Although she’s only recently discovered the comforts of indoor life, she’s quickly learned how wonderful it feels to be safe, warm, and loved. She’s been an incredible mom — nursing, grooming, and cuddling her babies with so much care and adoration. She’s taught them wonderful manners and impeccable litter box etiquette. Feta hasn’t quite warmed up to the resident “orcas” (two playful tuxedo kittens) or the gentle senior dog in her foster home, but her foster parents think that’s just her maternal instincts keeping her babies close. Even so, she continues to warm up to the other animals a little more every day. With people, though, Feta is pure love. She adores snuggling, following you from room to room, and curling up to nap on your chest. When she’s not cuddling, you’ll find her perched by a window, quietly bird-watching and chirping along. Feta is a wonderful, loving soul who just wants a gentle home of her own where she can finally relax and be the one receiving all the love she’s so freely given. She would love to be adopted with one of her babies, who were born on August 26, and are all being fostered together in Farmington. Feta was born on August 20, 2024, and is being fostered with his five siblings and their mama in Farmington. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.
