Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair
Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)
Description:
Please contact Kristin ([email protected]) for more information about this pet. These sweet babies have been in foster care for longer than usual . They were adopted together a few months ago but were too timid for the family’s school age child so they were returned. Fran was then adopted out on her own but cried out at night without her sister and was returned again. Now these two black cats are waiting patiently for a hero family to come along for them together. They follow their foster mom around the house watching her get ready and prepare their kitty food. At play time and food/treat time they crawl in her lap and get many pets. When Fran is feeling snuggly she allows herself to be picked up and cuddles under her chin. They both check in with their foster mom at night sleeping at the foot of the bed and more and more coming near for a few night time cheek and back scratches. They still show their timid side often, sometimes scampering away when people are walking near and Mary is just starting to learn the comforts of being held. They are sweet girls who make for really easy pets. They love the dog and the adult cats in their foster home. They would make great companions for another animal! They like to follow the adult male cat in the house around and rub up on his side and let him groom their ears . In a quiet home, with a family willing to give these girls some time and love, they will flourish! Apply to meet them in Thornton! Fran and Mary are guessed to be around 8 months old. They use their litter box and litter robot perfectly! Foster HJ Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under) $125 for cats (older than 6 months) $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here .
